Pécs, 1915 - 2005, Budapest

Was a student at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts from 1933. Made study trips in Western Europe between 1937 and 1939, getting to know Hans Arp, Étienne Beöthy, Breton and Mondrian. He was a member of the European School from 1945, and also joined the Hungarian Group of Abstract Artists later. Can be found among the founders of the "Gallery to the Four Quarters of the World". A friend of Lajos Kassák and Ernő Kállai. He took a tour of Western Europe in 1971, and worked in Belgium, also exhibiting his work there. He also travelled in Africa in 1973.
