Csabai-Ékes, Lajos

1890 - ?

He trained under Imre Simay and Ferenc Helbing at the School of Applied Arts and under István Réti at the Academy of Fine Arts and later under Károly Kernstok in his Independent School. After World War I he went on study trips in Italy and Germany. In 1919 he opened his Art and Applied Art School. He designed several posters, book illustrations and was engaged in sculpture as well.
