Tichy, Gyula

Rimaszombat, 1879 - 1920, Rozsnyó

He was the pupil of Bertalan Székely at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts, and of Simon Hollósy in Nagybánya. He first found renown as a graphic artist, in 1907. He illustrated the works of authors who wrote symbolic and deep-psychological prose, while an individual album of his work also appeared with an introduction from Aladár Bálint.
