She enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts in 1919, then in the Independent School of Nagybánya in 1923. In the 1930s she visited Paris several times and lived there from 1937 to 1939. She was a member of KUT and the wife of Béla Czóbel with whom she lived in Paris and in Szentendre in the 1950s.
