Mihalik, Dániel

Tallós, 1869 - 1910, Szolnok

After studying at the Model Drawing School with Bertalan Székely, and Károly Lotz at the Master School, he then attended the Munich Academy. He won a scholarship to the Julian Academy in 1898. He was among the founders of the artists colony of Szolnok along with Ferenc Olgyai and Lajos Szlányi, with whom he had rented a studio. The three went on to become known as the "triad of landscape painters", representatives of the Szolnok style.
