Budapest, 1915 - 2003, Toronto

Learned at the Applied Drawing School in 1931 and in the school of Vilmos Aba-Novák from 1932 to 1938 while spending summers in the artist colonies of Szolnok and Kecskemét. Together with his first wife, Magda Zemplényi he was a member of the Group of Abstract Painters between 1946 and 1948. Lives in Canada since 1957. Next to painting he also experimented with sculpture.
