Kozma, Lajos

Kiskorpád, 1884 - 1948, Budapest

He graduated from the Budapest Technical University. He took numerous study tours abroad, mainly in Germany and France. Alongside his outstanding work in architecture and the applied arts, he also prepared ex-libris and cover-designs regularly, illustrating the volumes of poems by Endre Ady and Béla Révész among others. A member of KÉVE association, he also designed the catalogue for their third exhibition, held in 1911. He travelled extensively around Transylvania and Somogy county collecting the decorative motives of folk art, which he made use of in his graphic work.
