Pest, 1870 - 1958, Budapest

Finished at the Pattern Drawing School in 1893, follow this up with studies at the Arts Teacher Training School in Budapest and the Julian Academy of Paris. He studied aquarelle in London and went to Italy on Scholarship. He taught at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts from 1903. He worked in Transylvania, Turkey and Holland in 1905. He painted in a number of artist colonies, Nagybánya, Kecskemét, Szentendre and Budapest among them.
