Budapest, 1912 - 1988, Budapest

Between 1933 and 1936 he was a pupil in Aba-Novák's Free School, then won the scholarship of Collegium Hungaricum to Rome in 1937. In the second half of the decade he worked at the artists colony in Szolnok. He went on study tours in Transylvania in 1943-44, and to Paris in 1947-48. Between 1949 and 1952 he taught at the Academy of Applied Arts in Budapest. He made several mural works as well.
